308 questions · free · works offline
A question worth asking out loud.
Questions is a deck of 308 introspective questions and the simplest possible way to ask one. Open it, draw, read it to the person in front of you. No account, no feed, no signal required.

Who in your life will call you out?
What it is
One question at a time
The screen holds a single question and a button that deals another. Nothing to scroll, nothing to swipe past, nothing to read while the other person is still answering you.
Sorted for the person in front of you
Every question is classified by who it is fair to ask — a stranger, a date, a friend, a partner, family, or yourself — and by what it costs to answer honestly: light, medium, deep, raw. Set the two once and the deck narrows to what fits the room.
It works with no signal
The whole deck arrives with the page and the draw happens on your phone. A bar with one bar of reception, a train through a tunnel, a tent: it still deals.

What secret about you will you never tell anyone?
When people use it
It is a phone held up between two people, not an app you open on the sofa alone — though that works too.
- A first date, past the small talk
- A long drive with nothing to say yet
- Dinner with friends you have known for years
- The end of a day, with a partner
- A new colleague you would like to actually know
- On your own, with a notebook
Questions about Questions
- Is it free?
- Yes. The whole deck is open, there is nothing to buy and nothing to unlock. An account exists only so you can keep the questions that landed.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Drawing a question never asks who you are. Signing in is optional and buys exactly one thing: a list of the questions you chose to keep.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes. The entire set is sent with the page, so drawing never touches the network. Add it to your home screen once and it opens and deals with no connection at all.
- What languages is it in?
- English and French. Every French question was read by a French speaker before it was allowed to publish — a machine translation of a question about someone's worst memory is worse than showing them the English.
- How is this different from a box of conversation cards?
- A box holds a fixed set you have to remember to bring, and it cannot tell a stranger from a partner. This is the whole set in your pocket, filtered to the person you are with and to how far you actually want to go, and it costs nothing.
- Can I use it on my own?
- Yes. Myself is one of the audiences, and it is not the leftovers — every question in the deck can be answered on your own, in a notebook or in your head.

It opens on the only two things worth deciding first — who you are with, and how far you want to go. Then it deals.
